Essay

The dissertation is for a scientific degree competition of the candidate engineering science on specialty 05.02.01 - Materials Science. - National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk, 2014. The dissertation is aimed to improve mechanical and corrosion properties of alloy AK7ч in its initial state and with introduction of Ti-B-Sr complex. Foreign and national literature about phase change in silumins, mechanism of structure formation, the phase constitution and specifics of the modification of hypoeutectic silumins have been analyzed in thesis. Integral characteristic of the alloy materials and pair interaction of atoms in the systems have been calculated with physicochemical modeling technique. The action mechanism of the complex Ti-B-Sr showed based on calculations. The features of structure formation, changes in the phase constitution, distribution of elements between phases and structural components , and the mechanical properties of hypoeutectic silumin AK7ч containing a complex of Ti-B-Sr, in the as-cast condition . Effect of heat treatment in the liquid and the solid state on the distribution of alloy elements and modify elements between phases and structural components have been studied for the first time. Rectangular distribution of modify elements over the cross section of the samples where shown. Improvement of the mechanical properties with application termaltime treatment обработка and simultaneously inclusion of the complex Ti-B-Sr where shown. Improvement of corrosion properties when applying the complex smelt treatment. Based on the research developed technical instructions for the preparation of the alloy and heat treatment in the solid state.
