Melnik O. Forming of logistics strategy development of river ports in Ukraine

The research of the existing theoretical and methodical approaches was conducted concerning determination of effective strategic development of river ports in Ukraine. It was formulated a concept of "logistics attractiveness". On the basis of research of logistics capabilities - river ports of Ukraine were ranked according to the level of logistics attractiveness. Depending on the level of logistics attractiveness - types of strategies for river ports of Ukraine were determined and the ways of their realization were justified. For ports with the highest level of logistics attractiveness - it is proposed a strategy of logistics development, which provides creation of river logistics centers on the basis of river ports, by introducing information logistics center in the structure of river port, which executes functions of work synchronization of contiguous types of transport in a transport unit and contributes in taking effective administrative decisions. The proposed mechanism for formation of logistics strategy for river port will allow to achieve an effective realization of logistics strategy for river port. Developed economic-mathematical model of generating of organizational alternatives for cargo handling at the port will allow to minimize time and financial costs and labor resources of port, to get an economic benefit.
