Essay

The dissertation is devoted to increase the efficiency of the treatment of patients with chronic apical periodontitis by clinical and experimental studies of antimicrobial drugs based on polyethylene oxide. Based on results of microbiological, clinical and laboratory studies installed a high therapeutic efficiency of treatment of chronic apical periodontitis using medicamental treatment of root canal with the drug HMHDL, and for the temporary filling - the composition the drug HMHDL with calcium hydroxide, compared to the traditional treatment. Application of this method helped to reduce the duration of treatment in the study group and improve clinical and radiological parameters: 92.8% for clinical and 74.4% - for radiological data.
