Essay

The relationships between polarization characteristics and transversal component of the Poynting vector, connection between intensity and azimuth of Poynting vector on dependence of polarization homogeneity of vector field are considered. Experimental interference modeling of elementary field cells with heterogeneous polarization and predetermined number of singularities is presented.The new method of measurement of Poynting vector parameters is proposed. The availability of this method tested on the examples of special formed elementary vector fields. It is shown that angular momentum of quasimonochromatic beam does not depend on spectral range of the wave. In other words, the angular momentum does not depend on temporal coherency.
