The thesis is a study of the theoretical foundations of fiscal impact of the tax system on the activities of business entities, defines the essence of such effect, its forms and classifies the factors affecting the determination of its size. It summarizes the methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of the tax system, through which the main tendencies of its development are determined, problems in functioning are defined and a set of measures to address them is formulated.
