The thesis presented in research aimed to improve the quality of the mixture, productivity and efficiency of mixing by combining the operations of transport and mixing, use of vibration exposure and optimize the start-up mode. A mathematical model of mixing granular masses in the mixer of continuous action that allows you to calculate the distribution of the control component in forage along the length of the screw depending on time is worked out. The factors, that influence the increase of homogeneity of the mixture, are determined. Mathematical model of the motion of the conveyor-mixer with variable resistance forces is developed. The character of changes the dynamic loads at the beginning of the movement is detected. Optimum modes of start-up of the screw conveyor mixer are defined. Theoretically and experimentally is proved that the use of controlled start-up will reduce the dynamic loads and the likelihood of disrepair conveyor-mixer. The effect of vibration and rotation frequency on the homogeneity of the mixture and productivity conveyor-mixer is investigated. Constructive and technological parameters that provide the best combination of quality and performance are proved. Recommendations on improving the design of screw conveyors are suggested. They are protected by 2 patents of Ukraine for inventions and utility models.
