The thesis reveals the main aspects of Jeremy Bentham's philosophy: his methodology, basic philosophical principles and,consequenthy, the approach to the concepts of "law" and "right" that makes it possible to recognize him as a consistent nominalist, empiricist, and legal positivist. The analysis of the concept of "benthamism" showed its multidimensionality.
