Essay

This work’s aim is to improve early diagnostics of cardiovascular damages in children and adolescents with arterial hypertension. Early diagnostic criteria including clinical, electrocardiographic, electroencephalographic, echocardiographic features and characteristics of autonomic reactivity were set based on the comprehensive clinical and instrumental examination of patients with high blood pressure. Disorders of cerebral hemodynamics, decreases of both endothelium-dependent and endothelium-independent vasodilatation of brachial artery and changes in vascular morphology depending on the severity of hypertension were detected. It was proved that oxidative stress exists when the inhibition of antioxidative protection happens. We observed that changes of immune system, interleukins (IL-8, IL-10) were dependent on the severity of the arterial hypertension. We identified 15 informative characteristics, based on which software for the early diagnostic of the cardiovascular damages was developed.
