Filenko I. Policy of Russian Federation concerning the European integration course of Ukraine (1991 - 2010)

For the first time, basing on a wide range of documents and materials in historic retrospective, the dissertation has analyzed the evolutional policy of the Russian government under the presidents B. Yeltsyn, V. Putin and D. Medvedev concerning the European integration vector of the policy of Ukraine and identified factors of influence of the policy of Russia on the European integration course of Ukraine. It has been identified in the paper that the Russian policy concerning the European integration vector of Ukraine in the period of presidency of B. Yeltsyn (1991-1999) was characterized by the interest in deepened cooperation with the European economic and security structures - NATO and the EU, at the same time - by the intensification of political, economic and cultural expansion in Ukraine.
