The dissertation represents the results of theoretical and experimental investigation of socio-psychological factors of practicing psychologists' adaptation to work at vocational schools. The principal approaches to the study of the phenomenon of adaptation have been analyzed in the paper. The concept of "socio-psychological adaptation of practicing psychologist at vocational school" has been defined. The model of socio-psychological adaptation of practicing psychologists at vocational educational institutions which occurs in five areas has been proposed. The socio-psychological factors of practicing psychologists' adaptation have been analyzed and the criteria effecting the formation of areas of socio-psychological adaptation of practicing psychologists of vocational schools have been determined. The model of supporting the socio-psychological adaptation of practicing psychologists at vocational schools, including the system of teaching-methodological and informational and educational forms of work, has been drafted and tested.
