Essay

The thesis is devoted to the ground nephroprotective impact of statins and differentiated approach to their purpose in patients with diabetic nephropathy with concomitant obesity depending on the stage of diabetic nephropathy, the degree of obesity and diabetes. In the complex therapy of patients with diabetic nephropathy stage III -IV with concomitant obesity included drugs with statins : atorvastatin and simvastatin, which contributed to the improvement of the lipid peroxidation process parameters, morphological and functional properties of erythrocyte oxidative - oxidant-protyoksydant homeostasis, reduction of interleukin -1, interleukin -6 and transforming growth factor - ?1 in plasma, and the level of ?2-microglobulin. Clinical efficacy equivalent treatment is to normalize glomerular filtration rate.
