Essay

The thesis is devoted to the actual issue of pediatrics - the definition of clinical and paraclinical features of chronic gastroduodenal pathology in children who are active smokers. The paper was investigated clinical features, histological and immunohistochemical changes in stomach and duodenum, depending on active smoking in children. Proven that smoking is important in causing inflammation in mucosa membrane of gastroduodeal zone as it causes circulatory disorders, and as a consequence, a decrease of production such gastroprotective mucosal factors as neutral mucopolysaccharides, prostaglandin E and nitric oxide levels. The efficiency of the complex therapy chronic gastroduodenal pathology rises with omega -3 fatty acids. This complex promotes more rapid disappearance dyspeptic syndrome on a background of inflammatory and destructive changes in the stomach and the duodenum, increases the resistance of the protective barrier of the stomach and duodenum.
