Considered the cause of aviation risks, their development and features as a precondition of their insurance. Highlighted the essence of aviation risks insurance and aviation insurance, consider its forms and types, analyzed the principles on which it is based. Considered the legislative framework for aviation insurance in Ukraine. Investigated the place and role of aviation insurance in Ukraine. Considered the features of aviation insurance and made suggestions for improving the conditions of their insurance in the domestic insurance market. Substantiated expediency olihopolization of the domestic aviation insurance market that will enhance the reliability of the insurance protection of domestic insurers and improve the financial performance of individual insurance companies. Investigated the features of aviation reinsurance of risks and the impact of international aviation insurance market to the domestic market. Prooved the expediency of the formation of associations of insurers that conduct aviation insurance in the domestic market in Ukraine.
