Objekt: literary Christmas stories in English, Russian and Ukrainian literatures of XIX century. Aim: to detect the typoiogy of the Christmas etories in English, Russian and Ukrainian literatures of XIX century. Methods: comparative-typological, intertextual, hermeneutical, receptive analyses. Scientific novelty: at first in the Ukrainian literary studies the problems of the typology of the Christmas stories in English, Russian and Ukrainian literatures of the XIX century are investigated; a lot of the new materials are brought into the scientific usage. Approved in 6 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
