Vlasova N. Socio-Psychological Factors of Parent-Youth Relationships in the Family.

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and experimental study of the problems of harmonization of family relations, the definition of socio-psychological factors of parent-youth relationships and the development of psychological support programs that aim to set conditions to enhance the subjective position of parents and children in while a family interaction. The model of communication between parents and children in the family is represented as an equal interaction. Some social and psychological factors of parent-youth relationships making were examined; gender characteristics of parent-youth relations based on the consistency of their subjective positions in a dialogic communication. There were identified different types of families in terms of consistency of social and psychological factors. A program of psychological support of parent-youth relations, distance form of dealing with dysfunctional families was elaborated. The possibility of mainstreaming social and psychological factors by parity of parent-youth interactions, activity and consistency of their subject-positions in a dialogic communication was proved.
