Korchmit O. The state regulation of sustainable development of public utilities

Object of study: public administration sector development utilities. Objective: to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of state regulation of public services at the national level and the development of approaches to improve the mechanisms to ensure its sustainable development. Methods: categorical and etymological analysis, synthesis and analysis, comparative analysis, modeling, public opinion poll. Results: the development of conceptual frameworks of state influence on the scope of public services to ensure sustainable development. Novelty: the mechanism of tariff policy, which must balance the interests of consumers, government and business entities in the field of centralized water supply and drainage; improved justification mechanism for implementing the principles of public-private partnership in the field of public utilities; further developed governance mechanisms of social protection of the population for housing and communal services. Introduced to the work of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy, Committee on Construction, Urban Development and Housing and Communal Services and Regional Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Fields of application: public administration, local government, training and retraining of civil servants, local government officials.
