This work determines the theoretical basis of term ,,labour potential". The author's methodological approach to comprehensive assessment of the agro-industrial enterprises' labour potential is implemented. The model of optimal labour potential management system of agro-industrial enterprise which allows to identify specific optimal parameters to use them to influence on the effectiveness of the labour potential system was worked out. The methodical way of evaluating the impact of the major internal factors of the labour potential system of agro-industrial enterprises.
