Аmiodarone treatment leads to thyroid dysfunction in 33.3 % of patients after one year of application, mainly due to hypothyroidism in 20.0 % of cases and hyperthyroidism in 13.3 % of patients. Аmiodaroneinduced thyroid dysfunction is characterized by the intensification of lipid peroxidation, antioxidant system, growth of endotoxemia, endothelial and liver dysfunction, loss of amiodarone antiarrhythmic properties. It was found the way to prevent thyroid amiodarone-induced changes using glutargin, leading to a decrease in the frequency of their occurrence from 33.3 % to 8.0 %. Branch - medicine.
