For the first time defined the actual prevalence of diabetic retinopathy nefro-and retinopathy among adult patients with DM. For the first time obtained data on the risk of total and cardiovascular death, as well as the risk of fatal and nonfatal MI and cerebrovascular accident in patients with DM type 2 depending on the type of oral hypoglycemic therapy.First evaluated the survival of patients with DM type 2 with CHD and AG and factorsthat affect the prediction: increased over 8.5% HbA1c level, changes in the myocardium of the left ventricle (LV) according to echocardiography, signs of ischemia myocardium by monitoring Electrocardiograms.
