Essay

The object of research are electromagnetic waves reflected from the Earth surface. The aim of the research is to study the influence of the trajectory instabilities and antenna orientation on the SAR images quality. The method of research is the theoretical analysis. A method for synthetic beams formation based on the spatial distribution od the Doppler frequencies was proposed for the first time. It is found, that radiometric distortions on the multi-look SAR images can be corrected by extending of the processed Doppler bandwidth. A new nonparametric autofocus methods for the stripmap SAR is proposed. Application area is remote sensing.
