Essay

This thesis is devoted to improving the complex treatment of patients with medullary thyroid cancer based on the development of radionuclide therapy with 131I-MIBG and create an algorithm postoperative monitoring these patients . Based on the clinical material ( 80 patients with MTC - basic and control treatment groups using 131I-MIBG and 105 patients under observation ) , proved that 131I-MIBG can be used in the treatment of metastatic forms of medullary thyroid cancer on post-operative stage. Based on the study of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals informative study determined the optimal radiotracer (99mTc (V)-DMSA) scintigraphy for monitoring patients with MTC. An algorithm for radionuclide therapy and monitoring patients with MTC , which can be used in these patients when administered after surgery.
