Nakonechna D. Energy Saving Management in Enterprise (based on the materials of the cement enterprises of Ukraine)

Dissertation is devoted to the issues of energy saving management in the cement enterprises of Ukraine. The terminology of energy saving is improved. The factors of energy saving management and energy efficiency barriers are described. Theoretical basis for the formation of competitive advantage in energy-intensive enterprises through energy saving management is defined. Strategic nature of energy saving and the need for appropriate approaches to its managing is justified. Tendencies of development of the cement industry in Ukraine and in the world are presented, an analysis of energy saving practices and energy efficiency of cement producers in Ukraine is carried out; features of the process of energy saving management in the cement industry of Ukraine are characterized. A business model of energy-efficient enterprise and the corresponding methodological approaches to the development of energy efficiency programs that contain a set and a typology of the main activities and the order of their development, resource allocation and accountability is validated. The relevant program is suggested. The methodical instrument for evaluation of the effectiveness of energy saving based on key performance indicators and benchmarking, and a methodical approach to the assessment of energy savings through an examination of its main areas are determined.
