The thesis is the first monographic research in forensic science which aims to explore the initial stage of the investigation into a killing of a newborn by his mother and problems concerning the investigation. Practical scientific problems that lie in generating conceptual framework of the methodology of investigating murders are intended to be solved by the final statements. The prospects of scientific counteraction to crime and the training of the specialists for law-enforcement agencies were determined by the findings of this investigation.
