Essay

The dissertation presents a complex study of dynamics of the English language changes from 1950 till 2012 as the realization of language-speech interconnection within discourse study. The dependence of extra- and- intralingual aspects guarantees the research of the English language within its action. Language units enable to grasp the potential sense of speech occasional and variant lexico-stylistic and grammatical-stylistic components under a certain communicative situation. According to the results of synchronic and diachronic intralingual processes research based on the USA pre-election discourse, it was found out the domination of colloquial elements both at lexico-stylistic and grammatical-stylistic levels, making their way to normative status. Taking into account the modern status of English as the language of globalization, such occasional lexico-stylistic and grammatical-stylistic forms estimate the simplification of the English language, its economy, that only stresses the further tendency to the language status strengthening by its corpus simplification.
