Essay

Object of study. Processing and transmitting video data to improve performance telecommunication systems. Subject of study. Methods for the compact representation of of video data improve the performance of telecommunications systems. Research methods. System justification increasing productivity of telecommunications, as regards the processing and transmission of digital images based use of compression technology, based on the evaluating the effectiveness of position of the theory complex systems. Was used apparatus of system analysis of digital imaging techniques, evaluating the effectiveness of of the theory of of technical systems, of information theory, coding, statistical of methods and of combinatorial analysis. Scientific novelty: 1) was further developed a model for estimating the information content of the transformed image, which is characterized in that the amount of information is estimated based on identifying structural regularities for the significant sub-band transform vector; 2) first established method transformed of video data compression coding based on their descriptions the component; 3) received further development of the technology transformant of reconstruction, characterized by by the fact that proposed to account its division into sub-bands and vectors significant refinable component; 4) first developed a method for image reconstruction based on inverse transforming. Practical results. The developed method of compression relative to a standard JPEG, provides: - a reduction in an image processing of time averaged of from 2 to 4 times; - The gain in on average compression ratio from 5 to 20%; - when transmitting images size of 2048 1080 obtained by the gain in transmission time, which averaged: for the 256 kbit / s from 5 to 15%; for the 16 Mbit / s of from 5 to 20%.
