Gridina T. A comprehensive assessment of the digestive system in children with asthma and recurrent bronchit.

The work is touched upon both the structural and functional condition of the digestive system of children with asthma and recurrent bronchitis, as well as the efficiency of the digestive system diagnostics tool by defining diagnostic criteria disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract using ultrasound. Built around clinical, anamnestic and spiromerical data, results of ultrasound, hydrosonography, echo-cholecystography and Doppler-graphy, it has been studied the functional status of the upper gastrointestinal tract, determined the character of both echo-graphic and Doppler-graphic changes in the liver and pancreas in dependence on the duration of the disease. It has been proved comparability of hydrosonography method and fiberoptic gastroduodenoscopy in detecting pathology of the upper gastrointestinal tract. It has been revealed some signs of reflux esophagitis, gastropathy, gastrodeudenopathy of children. The complex instrumental diagnostic algorithm for assessment of the digestive system in children with asthma and recurrent bronchitis has been proposed.
