The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical issues of criminalistics diagnostics. The notion of criminalistics diagnostics, its subject and objects have been defined. The subject of criminalistics diagnostics consists in cognition of changes occurring in the result of criminal encroachment as well as their causes and conditions on the basis of studying the characteristics and states of the interacting objects with the purpose of determining the mechanisms of criminal act and its separate elements.
