Ohreba S. Statistical assessment of the shadow sector of economy in system of national accounts.

Theoretical and methodical aspects of statistical assessment of the shadow sector of economy were explored; the main factors of its existence, present classifications and groupings, its structure, internal and external interrelations were defined; review of scientific approaches and international experience of the shadow sector's measurement was carried out. On the basis of this research a new complex approach to statistical assessment of the shadow sector of economy was developed. Methodical basis of development of statistical indicators of shadow economy's sizes was considered; statistical assessment of the underground production and the production of the informal sector in Ukraine for the period 2002-2012 was carried out; informational and analytical basis of statistical assessment of the illegal production and distributive activity in Ukraine was examined; the sizes of capital flight in Ukraine for the period 2002-2012 were evaluated and analyzed. Statistical evaluations of the shadow economy sector in structure of the National Accounts of Ukraine, methodical and organizational basis of satellite account "Shadow sector of economy" were developed. Also this satellite account was inculcated in System of National Accounts of Ukraine.
