The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of organizational and legal basis of activity of the State employment service of Ukraine. This paper investigates the legal nature and purpose of the service. Analyzed international experience of the functioning of employment services. Carried out a review of legal regulation of activity of the State employment service of Ukraine. Studied the structure and system Services, formulated proposals on appropriate structures of the new state employment service of Ukraine with consideration of new tasks and functions assigned to it in connection with the change of legal status.
