Essay

Object of research - shielding electromagnetic fields and radiation with protective materials. Purpose - to develop an integrated system of methods and means of protecting workers in enterprises of different profiles from exposure to electromagnetic fields and from their radiation by shielding made of metal and composite materials. Methods of research: method of actual measurements of absorbing and reflecting properties of shielding materials; computational method for determining and predicting the protective properties of shielding materials; mathematical modeling of the rational configurations of electromagnetic shields; graphoanalytical method. First developed and scientifically substantiated generalized dependence assessment and prediction of protective properties of metallic and composite electromagnetic shielding of various classes. First set the frequency-amplitude dependences of the protective properties of electromagnetic shields with soft magnetic amorphous alloys and composite materials in a broad spectrum of frequencies and amplitudes. First defined spatial patterns of distribution of electromagnetic fields and radiation, to select the electromagnetic screen depending on the source localization of the electromagnetic field. Improved theoretical and methodological bases of management of protective properties of magnetically soft metallic amorphous alloys and protective composite materials due to thermomagnetic treatment and the contents of the leading substance.
