Thesis is devoted to the study of the complex of theoretical and practical problems of warning and prevention of children's traffic traumatism. The main legal instruments, that regulate the activity of the units of State traffic police in the sphere of warning and prevention children's traffic traumatism were researched. The modern state of the work in the sphere of prophylactics of children's traffic traumatism and ways of the improvement of this activity were elaborated. In the research the principles and methods of practical prophylactic work of State traffic police in the sphere of warning and prevention of children's traffic traumatism were considered.
