Essay

Thesis deals with the adsorption and interfacial properties of nanocomposite materials based on fumed silica, DNA and hyaluronic acid (HA). The properties of hydrate layer of the silica-DNA, silica-DNA-doxorubicin, silica-DNA-fullerene C60 and silica-HA nanocomposites were investigated using the methods of 1H NMR, IR and UV spectroscopy. We founded significant difference in the hydrate layer structure of the silica-DNA, silica-DNA-doxorubicin composites and DNA powder. It is shown that hydration properties of hyaluronic acid, adsorbed on the silica surface, changes significantly in comparison with the hydration properties of the original silica. The features of hyaluronic acid hydration in the air, water and organic media were investigated. It is shown that in solutions with varying HA concentration (in the range of 1-12 wt. %) maximum of interfacial energy founded for the 2% solution. At this concentration polymer connected with maximum amount of water.
