Kukhar M. Geochemistry of groundwater halogens in central part of the Dnieper-Donets artesian basin

Dissertation is dedicated to research of geochemical characteristics of the distribution of macro- and microelements, including halogens, in groundwater of Quaternary, Paleogen (Buchak-Kanev) and Carbon deposits in the central part of Dnieper-Donets artesian basin (DDAB). The data on the background content of halogens and their distribution in different areas hidrogeodynamich DDAB, set the high content of iodine and fluorine in zones of tectonic faults of different aquifers. The estimated coefficients of metamorfization have provided information on the genesis of groundwater. The method of thermodynamic analysis and mathematical modeling established that halogen migration in the free ions forms. Рroved that the high content of iodine may be associated with not only in areas with increased content of hydrocarbons, but also to the zones of tectonic faults.
