The dissertation contains the complex of theoretical and practical questions related to research of the principles of exercise of state supervision in the field of protection of items of intellectual property right. On the basis of modern methodological approaches, doctrine analysis of theoretical sources of administrative legal science, generalization of norm setting and law-enforcement practice in the field of legal regulation of intellectual property the new or clarified definitions of a number of administrative and legal categories and concepts are offered. The main goal of the administrative activity of bodies of executive power in the field of intellectual property is to realize tasks and functions of the state, which include a guard and protection of rights of subjects of law of intellectual property on the items of intellectual property which are belonged to them. The general methods of the administrative and legal regulation of relations in the field of intellectual property are considered, it is noted that the impact of the administrative law in the legal regulation in the field of intellectual property is significant
