Berezovskaya S. Legal regulation of the financial activities of local governments

The thesis is a scientific research of the legal regulation of the financial activities of local governments. The state of research on the financial activities of local governments was analysed. The nature, forms and methods of these activities were disclosed, the authorities that participate in its implementation were defined. Distinguished and described the main directions of the local governments' financial activities: budgetary activities; activities in the field of taxation; activities in the field of local loans and guarantees for loans of municipal entities; activities to provide benefits to individuals and business entities; management of public utility companies, agencies and organizations.
