Essay

The thesis is the first revision of spiders of superfamily Lycosoidea in Crimea. 41 species of Lycosidae, 3 species of Oxyopidae, 2 species of Pisauridae and 1 species of Zoropsidae were found in Crimea. One new species has been described. Four species were recorded from the Crimea for the first time, and two of them are new for the fauna of Ukraine. Species distribution on biotopes and landscape zones of Crimea and their phenology have been studied. Zoogeografical analysis of Lycosoidea of Crimea fauna has been conducted. Based on the data on distribution of spiders of the superfamily Lycosoidea in Crimea it can be concluded that the semi-desert steppe, saline lands and the southern coast are considered as a Crimean portion of the Ancient-mediterranean division of Palaearctic, and the Crimean mountains are a Crimean portion of the Boreal (European-Siberian) division of Palaearctic.
