Essay

The Thesis deals with the issues of the student's psychological readiness to the professional self-realization and the role of family identification in its development. The empirical studies allowed arriving at the conclusion that persons with the high level of professional self-realization show the aspiration to self-actualization, orientation in time, value of self-actualization, the view of human nature, need for cognition, creativeness, self-understanding and rapport. They outline the importance of family values and intellectually-cultural orientation in the family. Correlation analysis indicates the direct correlation between the psychological readiness to professional self-realization and family values and relations between the family members. Two parental positions are noticed, namely, positive interest and mother's independence influencing the development of psychological readiness components. As a result of analysis, it was discovered that the persons who showed the high level of family identification describe their family as the one that takes into account all aspects of personal development of each member, namely, independence, orientation towards success, intellectual and cultural orientation, orientation towards active leisure, moral and ethical aspects. The intersex distinctions were discovered as well as the sibling position differences between the persons with different level of psychological readiness to self-realization in professional sphere. The model of students' psychological readiness to professional self-realization was drawn and empirically grounded.
