Essay

Materials on the impact of the new probiotic feed additive Entero-Active on the performance of young pigs of different age are presented. It is established that feeding of the probiotic feed additive Entero-Active at the dose of 0.5-2 g per pig daily increases average daily gains of the early weaned young pigs by 33 g, 46 g, 71 g and 76 g or 7.2, 10.1, 15.5 and 16.7 %, of growing young pigs - by 23 g, 38 g, 56 g and 60 g or 5.3, 8.8, 12.8, 13.8 %, and fattening young pigs - by 38 g, 101 g and 72 g or 6.1, 16.2, 11.5 %. Optimal dose of feed additive at the rate of 1.5 g per pig daily fed to young pigs is justified.
