The investigation is dedicated to defining characteristics of women’s writing on the basis of the analysis of three Ukrainian writers works of the late 19th up to early 20th century (Lesya Ukrainka, Olga Kobylyanska, Ulyana Kravchenko). The interpretation of the tactics of self-representation in women’s writing is elaborated, and it appeals as a dialogue between intimate and public space of self-narration. The interdisciplinary consideration of the problem of the women presence is hold, he intimacy of writing and its connection with questions of human physicality and cultural values is emphasized.
