Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the creation of new highly efficient, environmentally friendly technologies of combustion and gasification of straw and husks. A comprehensive study is completed of several species of native straw and husks using new standard methods of preparation and analysis of samples. It was obtained the experimental ash fusibility temperature dependence of silica and alkali metals in wheat ash content as well as the initial slagging temperature dependence of the alkali oxides content in ash of wheat straw. It was performed the numerical study of husk combustion-gasification process in fixed bed with volatiles and coke particles free-board after-combustion, of the combined combustion of brown coal and straw in a fixed bed reactor and of the pulverized combustion of coal and biomass in chamber furnaces.
