Essay

The thesis is devoted to development of technology for obtaining of ingots on alloys based on titanium aluminide doped by B and La elements by means of their introduction in the melt in composition of LaB6 compound. New melting scheme was proposed using which introduction of all refractory doping components of alloy is carried out at the first stage of ingot melting, and elements with high vapor pressure is to be added at the second stage. Mathematical model of evaporation of doping elements from the alloy was developed and dependencies of content of doping components of alloy on their initial quantity in the charge was derived, that allows predicting chemical composition of the ingot in advance. Introduction of boron and lanthanum in the alloy allowed increasing technological ductility of the material and carrying strain treatment of titanium aluminide alloy obtained by EBM method.
