Essay

The thesis investigates derivational categorization of reality by means of deadjectives of the Ukrainian language in comparison with English. It outlines the theoretical and methodological principles of contrastive study of categorization of the world by means of word formation, on the basis of which the implementation of deadjective-derivational categories of the both languages have been analysed according to contrastive aspect. The dissertation also establishes the unique ways of representing derivational-categorical semantics by deadjectives in Ukrainian and English.
