Dudynets L. Managing problem assets in banks

The thesis is devoted to deepening theoretical issues, developing methodological approaches and practical recommendations for improving the management of problem assets in banks. There have been corroborated theoretical positions which determine the essence of problem assets, distinguished their essential characteristics and proposed an updated classification. There has been identified the essence and structure of the problem assets management system. A complex scientific and methodological approach to the analysis of managing problem assets has been suggested. The state and dynamics of problem assets in Ukraine has been analyzed. There has been made a suggestion about a methodological approach to selecting the optimal method of managing problem assets with regard to profitability and risk control. The simulation model of the management of problem assets has been developed and validated. The methodical approach to determining the value of problem assets under the conditions of uncertainty has been mooted.
