Kachmar S. Incipience and development of the system of investment banking in Ukraine

Object: the processes of forming and development of investment banking in Ukraine. Objective: improving the theoretical and methodological positions and developing of practical recommendations for the development the system of investment banking in Ukraine. Methods: systematic analysis, qualitative analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, historical, analytical grouping comparison, retrospective analysis. Results: concepts and terminological apparatus of research (in particular, the term "investment banking"), methodical approach to the analysis of the bank's activities in the sphere of investment banking indicators through adapting volumes, activity and effectiveness of activity of financial intermediaries to the essential features of investment banking, scientific and methodological basis for assessing the level of information provision of investment banking, which, unlike existing except accuracy and completeness of information, requires consideration of the diversification of sources and methods of its obtaining are improved. Use: in the activities of the Association of Ukrainian banks in the formation of proposals for legislative and regulatory documents on regulation of banking activities, in the activity of PJSC "Bank "Kievan Rus" used in the developing the bank's internal regulations that regulating investment policy, approach to improving the system of planning and control in the field of investment banking, JSC Bank "Lviv", Lviv branch of JSC "Ukreximbank", in the learning process of the Lviv Institute of Banking of the University of Banking NBU.
