Essay

The thesis is dedicate to the study of rapid progression's predictors of HIV infection in children and improving their medical care. New approach was scientifically sound for improving the effectiveness of treatment of perinatally infected children. This approach is based on improving of diagnostic of rapid HIV-infection progression in children and on the development of differentiated approaches to the HAART starting. For the first time was shown that the levels in sera of soluble tumor necrosis factor receptor and antiphospholipid antibodies are complementary prognostic criteria of rapid pediartic HIV-infection progression in perinatally infected children. It was established that the lack of supervision of pregnant HIV-infected women in the prevention and control AIDS center, premature birth (before 35 weeks gestation), childbirht weighing less than 2500 g and less than 47 cm height significantly increases the risk of rapid progression of HIV infection in children. For the first time was developed addintional indications for early administration of HAART in children with high risk of rapid course of HIV infection.
