Essay

The subject of research is a technological process of pumpkin seeds' separation on mass which is carried by a new aerodynamic separator with active cylindrical separated surface. The aim of research is an effectiveness increase of technological process of separation of melons and gourds seeds by aerodynamic separator the structure of which ensures synchronous work of active cylindric roller system and air stream caused by compressed-air system. Theoretical study is done according to methods of theoretical mechanics, aerodynamics and theoretical engineering. Experiments were carried with application of both single-factor and complex experiment theory. The results of experiments were handled with implementation of elements of mathematical statistics and PC. The novelty of all engineering solutions is in a new aerodynamic separator the operating device of which consists of cylindrical separated surface. The air is sucked out of the surface by two vantilators. All rights on novelty are protected by patent of Ukraine on utility model. The successful tests of aerodynamic separator of melons and gourds seeds were done in a collective farm "Aidar-ovoch" in Novoaidar district, Luhansk region.
