Object - processes of estimation and use for service oriented systems developed on the basis of web technologies (web systems) that function under attacks on the vulnerabilities of components. The goal - is to improve the accuracy of estimation and to assure the availability of web systems through the development of models and method of information processing technology for parameter selection of update and maintenance of software considering attacks on the vulnerabilities of services availability. Research Methods: set and reliability theories, probability theory, Markov analysis, mathematical statistics, simulation. First developed model for update and maintenance of web system operating under attacks on its components. Improved complex mathematical models for availability of web systems taking into account changes in parameters of component vulnerabilities, attacks on the availability of these components, processes of service update and maintenance. Further developed a method for selecting rational options of maintenance and update of software considering vulnerabilities and design flaws by (availability - cost) criterion. Domain - information technology assessment and ensuring web system availability taking into account the availability vulnerabilities.
