Essay

A research into the influence of ASTG on TPS operation was conducted. It was based on operations statistics which confirm efficiency of their exploitation for maintaining edge operating conditions of STG and targeted voltage at the bus-bars of TPS. Mathematical models of choice of optimum structural constitution of TPS units with STG and ASTG and power dispatch were developed. These models allow enhancing efficiency of TPS operation by reducing fuel costs. Evaluation method of efficiency of ASTG usage was advanced. It allows taking into consideration characteristics, reliability targets as well as conditions of using alternate devices for TPS operating conditions regulation.
