The theoretical aspects of essence of efficiency of production of goods of industry of the cattle breeding are generalized in the dissertation work, the features of functioning of market of products of the cattle breeding are investigated. The modern state of industry is analysed in Lviv area. The estimation of efficiency of production of goods of the cattle breeding is carried out in agricultural enterprises. Certain tendencies in market of products development of cattle breeding, the processes of production, processing and consumption of corresponding types of products are represented in that. Suggestions for increasing of the economic efficiency of production of animal husbandry by forming a stable food base, the improvement of budgetary support of industry after the programs "green basket" are worked out. Organizational and technological and economic imperatives of the development of cattle are defined. Practical measures sent to the plant-breeding improvement of efficiency of the use of are suckling cattle in agricultural enterprises are substantiated.
