Essay

The thesis deals with the research of peculiarities of reflection of the technique phenomenon in Ukrainian philosophy and its connection with western European philosophy of technique. It was established that conception of technique innate to the Ukrainian philosophy in its roots and its further development, starting with ancient times till our days, is closely connected with the western European understanding of the technique essence as of human activity. In the consideration of the technique phenomenon by the modern Ukrainian philosophers there were marked out ontological, gnosiological, anthropological and social aspects.
